The Enterprise Directory and Messaging Services group (EDMS) provides support for University eDirectory, Active Directory, LDAP and its access. The group also provides support for University e-Mail and messaging services for faculty, staff, and students.

Enterprise Server Support

The Enterprise Server Support group (ESS) provides support for servers hosting University Applications that are located in the Data Center of University Technology Services. These services are provided with the signing of a Service Level Agreement. ESS also provides consulting services to departments on server purchases, operating system installation/configuration suggestions and security recommendations.

Enterprise Storage and Backup Services
Supervisor - Jamie Sanders
The Enterprise Storage and Backup Services group provides access to the Hitachi Lightning 9980 storage system. This system provides high availability/high speed disk storage to our current mainframe and server environment in the Data Center. Backup Services are also provided to ensure that crucial university applications and data are protected in the event of hardware failures, disasters, and such.
